How to Check Your Credit Score for Free
The FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) mandates the big three credit reporting companies including Equifax TransUnion and Experian to give everyone free access to their credit score once a year. You’re entitled to an accurate report. The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) is responsible for enforcing the FCRA, but all too often there can be mistakes on your report. Contact Powerhouse Consultants and we will help you remove negative accounts from your credit score thereby increasing your credit score.

There are three ways you can get your credit report from all three of the credit reporting companies. You can get all three at once or one from each.

What’s Included On My Credit Report?
Your credit report includes where you reside, whether you have paid bills on time, and if you’ve been sued or filed bankruptcy. The big three credit reporting companies sell this information to creditors, employers, insurers, and others so that they can evaluate your credit for things like insurance, employment, and renting a home.
Fake Websites
There are many websites out there promising to provide a free credit report only to steal your information. Only annualcreditreport.com is authorized by the federal government to get you your free report.
